The top half of the P-40B is shown in the shop at California Aerofab. Matt Nightingale and his crew at California Aerofab fabricated the bottom half on the same fuselage assembly fixture the top half was built on at Torrance, per original design. These photos show the assembly of the bottom half and its attachment to the top half.
